Waste Treament Plant

Waste Treament Plant

A brome production waste treatment plant has been designed for detoxification and further safe use in various technological processes.

The plant consists of several sites connected into one technological process. This process is based on a unique brome waste treatment technology.

  1. A site where sealed barrels with wastes are stored. The state of material contained in barrels varies from fluidic to hardened mass with strength similar to that of hardened cement.
  2. A site where barrels are opened one-by-one in order to determine the state of material contained in each barrel, to discharge it and then filter it.
To carry out all these operations, the Ring Company has designed and manufactured a unique half-automatic installation equipped with a special device to grip and move barrels onto a working table, and a special mechanism with a profile knife used to open barrels and transfer the material onto a static bar-type screen for filtration.
All these processes are partially automated and controlled remotely from a console.
  3. A site for processing material released from barrels includes a special reactor. In this reactor, harmful ingredients are burned out at high temperatures, approximately 150 оС. The material is supplied from above, from the static bar-type screen, through a periodically opened reactor port.
